Fredericia Furniture

The roots of the Dutch firm Fredericia Furniture stretch back all the way to 1911, marking the establishment of a limited liability company by founder Fredericia Stolefabrik. It wasn’t until 1955, however, when the company began a course of associations with leading designers like Børge Mogensen, that Fredericia gained a level of distinction that has sustained them into the 21st Century.
Mogensen contributed a number of award-winning designs, including classic high-backed sofas, armchairs, and coffee tables before his untimely death in 1972. He left a vital legacy of fabricating expertise to pass on to future generations, who have upheld the standard for fine detail that makes the company’s pieces so cherished and unique.
Theirs is an international business that maintains major showrooms in six countries. They are frequent contributors to designer fairs like the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Italy, as well as Copenhagen’s CODE and Germany’s IMM Cologne shows.
